TOURISTS who survived the terror attack at Baisaran in Pahalgam and are undergoing treatment in Government Medical College (GMC) hospital in Anantnag district, said on Wednesday that they would never come to the Valley again, as fear-stricken visitors cut short their stay and began leaving Kashmir in hordes.
Veenumar, a tourist from Gujarat, said his family along with 20 people had come to Kashmir. "Within minutes of our reaching Baisaran meadows, terrorists started firing. It continued for 10-15 minutes. A bullet hit my right arm," said Veenumar undergoing treatment at ICU in GMC hospital. "Once discharged from hospital, I will return to my native place," he said.
