The BSF has intensified boat and foot patrols along the Indo-Pak border after floodwaters from the Sutlej River entered Indian territory, marooning villages and even a Border Out Post (BoP).

- HARPREET BAJWA @Chandigarh

The water rushed in after the Dhusi Bandh on the Pakistani side collapsed on Tuesday, leaving large tracts of land submerged.

Over 15,000 acres of farmland across nearly 45 villages in Ferozepur district lie underwater. Villages such as Gatti Rajo Ke on the zero line, Nihala Lavera, Dheera Ghara, Kutabdeen Wala, Ruknewala, and Kamala Bodla remain cut off.
