Abducted Koduvally Youth Yet To Be Traced; SIT Formed

A special investigation team (SIT) has been formed to investigate the abduction of Koduvally resident Anoos Roshan, 21, who was kidnapped by masked men from his home on the evening of May 17.
The youth's whereabouts remain unknown. Having reviewed mobile network locations, the police have reasons to believe the gang has gone to Malappuram with Anoos.
The Thamarassery DySP will lead the SIT. After the incident, the Koduvally police arrested Muhammed Shafy, 39, who had threatened the youth's family demanding the money he had lent to Ajmal Roshan, Anoos' elder brother. The police are yet to confirm his direct involvement in the abduction.
