- EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE @ T'Puram

ISSUES raised by striking ASHA workers would be brought to the Prime Minister's attention, said Union minister Suresh Gopi. Visiting ASHA workers at their protest venue in front of the Secretariat in the morning, he assured wholehearted support for their cause. The actor-turned-minister also danced to the tunes of a film song, sung by the striking workers.

Speaking to the media, the minister said the matter will be brought to the Union government's notice. "If they have some kind of insecurity or uncertainty, I would request the Prime Minister and Union Health Minister to initiate appropriate measures," he said.
