Middle-class hailing it most favourable budget, says Modi at Delhi rally

A day before the end of campaigning for the Delhi assembly election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that the middle-class of India considers the Budget 2025-26 as the "most favourable" one in the country's history.
He said his government has completely eliminated the income tax for individuals earning up to ₹12 lakh. "This change will save middle-class citizens thousands of rupees."
Modi was addressing BJP's 'Delhi Sankalp rally' in South Delhi's RK Puram.
