Ensure transparency in party rejig, Sudhakaran requests AICC president

Though the Congress state leadership has started informal discussions with some senior leaders on reorganization, former PCC chief K Sudhakaran has approached the AICC president alleging lack of transparency and lack of discussions with MPs.
According to sources in the central leadership, Sudhakaran, who is now in Delhi in connection with the Parliament session, met Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday.
Sudhakaran has reportedly conveyed to Kharge that the reorganization process must be done only after thorough discussions with MPs and senior leaders. It is learned that he also told the Congress president that unless the state leadership took the leaders into confidence, there would be opposition from their part.
