'Drop-Out Hunt' campaign reaches tribal settlements

IN A BID to reintegrate tribal children into the education system, authorities have launched a focused initiative titled 'Drop-Out Hunt' in the tribal belts of Ranni in Pathanamthitta.
The campaign is part of the state's flagship Samagra Guna Menma Vidyabhyasa Padhathi (Comprehensive Quality Education Project). Jointly coordinated by the Scheduled Tribes Development Department and the General Education Department's Samagra Shiksha Kerala (SSK), the drive zeroed in on the tribal settlements of Manjathode and Plappally in its first phase.
