School principal in Haryana stabbed to death by 2 students

TWO Class XII students allegedly stabbed their school principal to death in Haryana's Hisar district Thursday—on Guru Purnima—after he asked them to get a haircut and follow school discipline.
The director-cum-principal, 50-year-old Jagbir Singh Pannu, was allegedly stabbed multiple times inside the premises of Kartar Memorial Senior Secondary School at Bass village in Narnaund sub-division of Hisar. The students were angry over being frequently reprimanded for not maintaining proper grooming standards, specifically their haircuts, and for failing to adhere to school rules, police said. Pannu had warned the teenagers multiple times and urged them to mend their ways.
