Nod for Constructing 66 Rural Roads in Kottayam

IN A MAJOR boost to rural infrastructure development, permission has been granted for the construction of 66 rural roads in Kottayam Lok Sabha constituency under the Pradhan Mantri Grameen Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) scheme.
Kottayam MP K Francis George said the PMGSY 4th scheme includes mud roads connecting residential areas and having a minimum width of 6 m. A detailed project report for the construction of the approved roads will be prepared soon, he said.
