WHEN it comes to compensation in Q1FY26, the country's Global Capability Centre (GCC) ecosystem showed signs of moderation following last year's rapid year-on-year salary growth of 20-35% in premium roles.
In Q1, there was about 3.5% sequential uplifts in niche skills such as Zero Trust Security and AI Observability, as per the data from Quess Corp.
In its report, 'India's GCC Tech Talent Landscape', the staffing and workforce solutions provider said Q1 saw a market correction and stabilisation after a period of intense salary inflation, pushing P75 (refers to the 75th percentile in salary and it is usually considered the highest) offers in Bengaluru toward the ₹60 lakh range.
