3 BKI operatives held for grenade attacks on police posts in Punjab, Haryana

PUNJAB Police has busted a Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terror module, being operated by foreign-based handlers Maninder Billa and Manu Agwan, with the arrest of three of its operatives involved in grenade attacks on police posts at Badshahpur in Patiala and Ajimgarh in Haryana.

The three accused have been identified as Sandeep Singh alias Deepu, resident of Badshahpur; Harpreet Singh alias Jagga, resident of Harchandpura, Patiala; and Harmanpreet Singh alias Preet, resident of Gurdialpura in the same district.

Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav said on Sunday, adding, the operation was jointly conducted by Counter Intelligence (Patiala) and State Special Operation Cell (SAS Nagar).
