Additionally, a lack of physical activity remains a major contributor to heart disease. Stress and depression may also have a more profound impact on women's heart health compared to men. Women with diabetes not only have a higher likelihood of developing heart disease than men, but they also face an increased risk of experiencing a silent heart attack.
