33 surrenders in 10 days; Naxal nos. in single digit

A total of 33 surrenders in 10 days have shrunk the number of armed naxal cadres to single digits perhaps for the first time in more than three decades in the Maharashtra-Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh (MMC) Special Zone.
Around 40-45 armed naxal cadres active as members of armed Dalams were active in two parts of the MMC Zone. Three Dalams, including Khatiya Mocha, Bhoramdev and Borla formed the Kanha-Bhoramdev Division was active in the northern MMC Zone, which covered Balaghat and Mandl
