Car lost control and hit the parked bus; family was returning from Ekm
TWO people lost their lives and two sustained minor injuries in an accident near Ulliyil bridge on the Mattanur-Iritty state highway on Wednesday.
The accident occurred when a car collided with a private bus at 8.15am.
The deceased are Kalanki native Beena K T, 52, and her nephew B Lijo, 37. The car, bearing Karnataka registration and owned by Lijo who resided in Mangaluru, was completely destroyed in the crash.
