TB patients to receive food kits every month

AS THE state gears up to fully eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) by 2025, malnutrition among TB patients has been a major factor hindering the efficacy of the treatment.
To address this issue, the government has directed local bodies to provide monthly nutritional food kits worth ₹1,500 to TB patients for periods ranging from six to 21 months, based on the treatment protocol advised by the health department.
