INDIA's favorable economic cycles, driven by geography and demographics, which have propelled 64 new companies into the elite “₹1 lakh crore club” (nearly $12 billion market cap) since 2019, Gaurav Dalmia, Chairman of Dalmia Group Holdings, said on Wednesday.

Delivering a keynote address at the Neo Wealth conference in Bengaluru, highlighting the remarkable ascent of Indian companies onto the global stage, he noted that India now boasts 92 such companies, placing it just behind China (94) and significantly ahead of other large economies like Germany (28) and the UK (35).

He drew a parallel between India's current economic sweet spot and Warren Buffett's advantageous birth in the dynamic US economy.
