Hunger strike over delay in rly overbridge work

SURESH Babu Elayavoor, the councillor of Kannur corporation's 48th ward and chairman of the standing committee, will observe a hunger strike demanding immediate completion of the Railway overbridge connecting Kannur Press Club Road and Muneeswaram Kovil, near the Press Club on Tuesday from 10am to 4pm. Kannur Corporation Mayor Muslih Madathil will inaugurate the strike.
"The overbridge was demolished with the promise that the work would be completed in 15 days.
