THE panchayat's 'Griha Chaithanyam' project has made kitchen courtyards of houses in Kannapuram teeming with vegetables.
THE panchayat's 'Griha Chaithanyam' project has made kitchen courtyards of houses in Kannapuram teeming with vegetables. With the aim of moving towards self-sufficiency in vegetable farming, the project implemented by the panchayat and the farmers under the leadership of Krishi Bhavan are promoting the use of organic waste from the kitchen, ash, and porridge water to nourish vegetable seedlings.
