Says ready to suffer political loss, calls Bihar caste survey 'fake'
FORMER Congress president and leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Saturday termed the caste-based survey conducted in Bihar "fake", saying the people were befooled in the name of the survey.
Addressing his party workers at the 'Samvidhan Suraksha Sammelan' (save the Constitution conference) in the state capital, Rahul said that the Congress would stick to its demand for a nationwide caste census."We will ensure caste census even if we have to incur political losses," he said, adding, "but it would not be the caste survey conducted in Bihar, which was an exercise to befool the people."
