The South Western Railway is set to upgrade the Bengaluru-Kannur Express with modern LHB (Linke Hofmann Busch) coaches, beginning this May.
THE South Western Railway is set to upgrade the Bengaluru-Kannur Express with modern LHB (Linke Hofmann Busch) coaches, beginning this May.
The new coaches will replace the older ICF rakes currently in service, offering passengers a safer and more comfortable travel experience.
LHB coaches are known for their advanced suspension systems, reduced noise levels and improved toilet facilities. Most notably, these coaches offer enhanced safety features, designed to remain stable and upright during derailments, thereby minimising the risk of serious injuries.
