Modi Flags Off Maruti's First EV e-VITARA

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday flagged off production of Maruti Suzuki's first battery electric vehicle, the e-VITARA, for sales in over 100 countries at Suzuki Motor Gujarat (SMG), a subsidiary of Maruti Suzuki India (MSIL).
The PM also flagged off manufacturing of the first lithium-ion battery, cell & electrode for hybrid EVs at TDS Lithi
