In a shocking case that highlights the unexpected role of animals in solving crimes, the murder of a shepherd in Hukkeri taluk has been cracked—due to crucial clues provided not by technology, but by a herd of goats and two loyal dogs.
The month-old mystery was finally unraveled when the animals' behavior raised key questions that led the police to the culprit, who was the victim's younger brother.
District Superintendent of Police Dr. Bhimashankar Guled announced that a team comprising Yamakanmardi Inspector Javed Mushapuri, PSI SK Mannikeri, and others worked tirelessly to solve the case.
