Lightning claims lives of eleven goats in Khanapur

KHANAPUR taluka experienced a severe thunderstorm on Monday evening, bringing heavy rains, thunder, and lightning that resulted in tragic consequences in the Chapgaon area.
Eleven goats belonging to Umesh Chachdi, who had taken shelter in Chapgaon, died on the spot after being struck by lightning. Native of Hunnur village in Bailhongal taluk, Chachdi suffered a financial loss of approximately Rs 2 lakh due to the death of the livestock.
