KKRTC to get 123 new buses with ₹ 53 cr aid from KKRDB, DULT

KALYANA Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (KKRTC) will get 123 new buses soon with the financial assistance from Kalyana Karnataka Region Development Board and Directorate of Urban Land Transport (DULT) with both KKRDB and DULT sharing the expenditure, KKRTC sources said.
Sources who spoke to TNSE said that the estimated cost of Rs 53 crore has been sanctioned for the purchase of new buses by KKRDB and DULT and both these organisations will share 50 percent of the cost each. As the organisations have sanctioned the required amount, the new buses might be inducted by the end of Oct
