K'buragi Police Commissioner Aims to Reduce Accidents by 15% in 2025

EXPRESSING serious concerns over the valuable lives being lost in road accidents, Kalaburagi Police Commissioner S D Sharanappa said that he had set a target of reducing the accidents by 15 per cent in 2025 as compared to 2024.
Participating as the chief guest in a traffic awareness meeting organised by Kalaburagi City Police in association with United Hospital, Sharanappa said, "It is a good thing that the accidents and traffic violations are reduced by 5 per cent in 2024 as compared to the previous year. We have now set a target of further reducing it by 15 per cent in 2025."
He said that without the cooperation of the public, it would not be possible to reduce the accidents, and he appealed to the public to join hands with the police and to adhere to the traffic rules, he said.
