Anticipatory bail will be filed, counter complaint has been lodged: MLA
Following the registration of an FIR against Pratik, son of Aurad BJP MLA Prabhu Chawan, different teams of Bidar police have started a search operation to arrest him.
Bidar SP Pradeep Gunti told TNIE on Monday that following the complaint by a 25-year-old woman at Women's police station of Bidar on July 20, alleging that Pratik allegedly raped her several times in several places, the police registered an FIR and formed teams and they were searching for Pratik. He further said that the woman has been subjected to the medical test.
