FORMER president of Kalyana Karnataka Chamber of Commerce & Industries Amarnath Patil, who is also president of the Kalaburagi unit of All India Veerashaiva Mahasabha's National Industries & Commerce Committee, has requested Union Minister of State for Railways V Somanna to reconsider changing the timings of Vande Bharat Express running between Kalaburagi and SMVT.
In a letter to Somanna which was released to the media on Monday, Patil stated that she came to know that based on the letter written by the pontiff of Shri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt Mantralayam, the train timings of Vande Bharat train are being changed to facilitate the passengers of Bengaluru to visit Mantralayam and return on the same day.
