Bidar DC lays out multi-pronged strategy to fight child marriages

LET us strive to make Bidar a child marriage-free district.
The public should cooperate in eradicating this inhumane practice and allow children to fully enjoy their childhood, said Deputy Commissioner Shilpa Sharma.
She said that child marriage practice can be harmful to development. It is the duty of all to prevent this social evil which is punishable under the law. If people come across child marriages in the district, they should immediately call Child Helpline 1098, Police Helpline-112, District Child Protection Unit 08482-234003.
