Zeenat Released in Soft Enclosure of Similipal South Division, in Good Health

TIGRESS Zeenat, brought back from West Bengal, was released in a soft enclosure of Similipal Tiger Reserve's south division in the early morning hours of Wednesday.
A tiger squad, a biologist and veterinary doctors of STR will keep a close watch on Zeenat's movement and behaviour inside the soft enclosure, regional chief conservator of forests (RCCF)-cum-field director of STR Prakash Chand Gogineni told The New Indian Express.
Around 130 forest officials of the three states had been tracking the big cat for the last one month. It was released in the soft enclosure of STR-south, where tigress Jamuna had been let out at around 7.30 am. "Zeenat is presently in good health and has drunk water after its release," he added.
