Another cop dies, Kathua toll rises to 6 as security forces resume operations

THE encounter between militants and security forces in the Sufiyan Jakhole forest in the Juthana area of Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district continued for a second day. Two militants and four policemen have been killed in the two-day encounter, according to J&K DGP Nalin Prabhat.

A security official said the body of a fourth policeman was found when search operations with the help of drones resumed Friday morning.
