Over the years, Vaagdevi College of Engineering (VCE) has built such a strong reputation that it has become the top choice for any student even considering a career in engineering.

Here's how the institution has managed to achieve this

Students can benefit immensely from the environment that Vaagdevi College of Engineering (VCE) has been nurturing since its inception.

Vaagdevi College of Engineering (VCE) was established in 1998 sponsored by the Viswambhara Educational Society in Warangal. This society was founded by a group of philanthropists and prominent individuals with the aim of imparting technical education to students from rural backgrounds.

Since its commencement, VCE has produced more than 10,000 graduates who are technically sound in their fields and, as a result, enjoy an enviable reputation among global institutions. VCE is known for its academic excellence and state-of-the-art infrastructure. VCE was conferred Autonomous status by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in 2014. VCE is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an "A" grade.

VCE achieved the Excellent Band under the Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) 2021 ranking. Vaagdevi-IIC was awarded a five-star rating by IIC MHRD for the year 2019. VCE is registered with the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) for the skill development of students.

VCE houses recognised research centres sanctioned by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTU-H) to supervise PhD students. The institution started following the Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS) in 2015.
