N a rare appearance for a film-related event, actor and politician Pawan Kalyan attended the press meet of Hari Hara Veera Mallu on Monday morning. The period action drama, set for release on July 24, marks his return to the big screen after two years. Also starring Bobby Deol, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Anupam Kher, the film is produced by AM Rathnam under the Mega Surya Productions banner and directed by Jyothi Krisna.

Speaking at the event, Pawan Kalyan said, "I've had political interactions with the media in the past, but I rarely talk about my movies. It's not pride or arrogance, I just don't know how to promote my films or talk about them." He stated that the event was organised out of respect for producer AM Rathnam. "This film has to thrive. Rathnam gaaru is one of the few who took Telugu cinema to pan-Indian audiences. When you make a film, there are so many battles to fight, financial and creative. He has consistently contributed to the growth of this industry. Seeing his dedication, I gave whatever time I could to the film. It's not about success or money, it's about standing by the people who stood for the industry," he said.
