Compassionate Appointments for 588 Candidates

The Panchayat Raj Department has approved compassionate appointments for around 588 eligible candidates to support families of deceased employees.
This decision came after repeated appeals from M Jagadish, chairman of the Telangana Gazetted Employees Joint Action Committee (TGEJAC), and Eluri Srinivas Rao, secretary-general, who highlighted the hardships faced by families who had lost their sole breadwinners.
