THE Indian economy is likely to grow at 6.7% in the June quarter, buoyed by the front-loaded capital expenditure by the government, along with higher exports to the US ahead of the higher tariffs, which is effective from this month, says a report.
As per ICRA Ratings, its forecast outpaced the RBI's Monetary Policy Committee's forecast of 6.5% earlier this month. The economy had clipped at 6.7% in June 2024 quarter.
