A special CBI court on Friday acquitted former Punjab and Haryana High Court judge, Justice Nirmal Yadav, in the 17-year-old 'cash-at-judge's-door' corruption case, citing prosecution's failure to prove charges against the accused.
The verdict comes amid a raging controversy over the discovery of burnt cash at the residence of Delhi High Court judge Yashwant Varma on March 14.
