Will build 'new Bihar': Modi sounds poll bugle with 'evil' jibe at Oppn

WITH the assembly election in Bihar only a few months away, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday appeared in poll mode as he asserted that the NDA would build a new Bihar by forming a government again, and cautioned people to be wary of the "bad intentions of RJD and Congress".
"Bihar ka sankalp atal, NDA ke saath har pal. Banaynge naya Bihar, fir ek baar NDA sarkar (Bihar's resolve is firm, every moment with NDA. We will form a new Bihar, once again an NDA government," remarked Modi while addressing a public meeting in Bihar's Motihari, the district headquarters of East Champaran.
He also accused RJD-Congress of taking political mileage in the name of the poor, backwards, Dalits and Adivasis, but doing nothing for them all these years.
"What to speak of giving equal rights to them, they (RJD-Congress) cannot give even respect to anybody outside their families," Modi commented, while making an oblique reference to RJD chief Lalu Prasad, under whose feet a party worker had placed a portrait of BR Ambedkar on the occasion of the former CM's birthday celebration.
