THE Border Security Force (BSF) has trained dogs to detect drones carrying drugs and weapons from across the India-Pakistan international border.
The animals pick up the mechanical buzzing sound of the flying machines that human ears usually cannot detect.
Sources said that four Labrador Retrievers have been trained at the National Training Centre for Dogs (NTCD) in Tekanpur, Gwalior. They will be deployed along the Punjab frontier. Fourteen more are undergoing training at present.
