Principals, librarians who retire mid-year will get re-employment: Edu dept

PRINCIPALS, librarians, and Physical Education Directors (PEDs) working at Government Arts and Science Colleges in the state will be allowed re-employment if they attain superannuation in the middle of the academic year.
The Tamil Nadu Higher Education Department has permitted the Directorate of Collegiate Education (DCE) to allow their re-employment with riders.
In a letter dated July 30, to the DCE, Higher Education Secretary P Sankar stated the Department has decided to allow re-employment for Grade-1 and Grade-2 principals, librarians, and PEDs who attain superannuation in the middle of the academic year, until the close of the academic year (May 31), subject to certain conditions.
