Following government and aided schools, the School Education Department has implemented a water bell system in all types of private schools across the state.
The Directorate of Private Schools (DPS) in Chennai has, in turn, directed the District Educational Officers (DEOs) for private schools to ensure immediate compliance of the order to implement water bell system in all private schools, to encourage students to drink water regularly.
