College principals to inspect hostels

THE principals of Government Arts and Sciences colleges located in the Coimbatore region have been asked to submit an inspection report on the maintenance of hostels and toilets at colleges, to ensure hygiene.
After a complaint was raised by hostel students that the toilet and hostel was maintained poorly by the Government Arts College in Coimbatore, the Directorate of Collegiate Education (DCE) took this step.
