Normalisation': Army top brass takes stock of Manipur situation

THE Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) of the Indian Army, Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai, visited the strife-torn border state of Manipur to discuss how to "normalise" the situation along the border with Myanmar.
On Tuesday, the Army said that the DGMO's two-day visit on February 24 was primarily to "gain a comprehensive understanding of the situation along the Indo-Myanmar Border and insights into the status of ongoing border infrastructure developments in the state".
