THE bureau of immigration in the Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday announced the closure of the Kartarpur corridor, the passage used by Sikh pilgrims to visit the Darbar Sahib Gurdwara in Pakistan's Kartarpur, "until further orders."
The decision came hours after India conducted operation 'Sindoor' by carrying out precision strikes on terrorists' infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) to avenge the Pahalagam terror attack, which claimed 26 lives.
