AHPI asks Star Health to restore cashless facility for policyholders

DAYS after the Association of Healthcare Providers of India (AHPI) warned suspension of cashless services to Star Health Insurance policyholders, it has demanded immediate restoration of cashless facilities by the insurance company.

The AHPI said in a statement on Monday the insurer has suspended cashless services to many members of the hospital body. Hospitals and nursing homes, part of Indian Medical Association Hospital Board, share same concerns. AHPI said many hospitals are facing alarming situation as they have to manage irate and distressed patients
