J&K party chief to contest from seat with advantage
THE BJP on Sunday announced its candidates for three of the four vacant Rajya Sabha seats from Jammu and Kashmir.
It nominated Sat Pal Sharma as its chief from the ‘safe seat’ where party has enough numbers. In contrast, the Congress has decided not to contest the ‘unsafe’ seat offered by its ally, National Conference (NC).
