A video of the guards confiscating the books and the community questioning the act has gone viral on social media, with many netizens tagging the Bengaluru police, pointing out that the seizure of books is a misuse of power and demanding suitable action. However, officials from the horticulture department defended the confiscation and stated that the group had to take permission for large gatherings.
