CDS on six-day Indonesia visit to deepen security ties

TO further bolster ties between the two nations, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan reached Indonesia on Sunday for an official visit.

This high-level visit continues the trend of consistent bilateral meetings of the top political and military leaders.

Confirming the visit, the Indian Embassy in Jakarta announced on its official social media X account that the CDS will be in Indonesia from October 26-31. The embassy underlined that the visit is aimed at further deepening the defence cooperation between India and Indonesia, — designated as Comprehensive Strategic Partners.
