Police Announce Traffic, Parking Plans Ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi

The city is preparing for a grand celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi, with the police department implementing special traffic and parking arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the festival and processions.
Belagavi City Police Commissioner Bhushan Borse has urged the public to avoid parking vehicles along roadsides and instead use designated parking areas identified by the department as a precautionary measure.
From August 27 to September 7, the city police have earmarked about 10 locations for public parking while six places have been identified for vehicle parking on the day of immersion procession on August 27.
