‘THE Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detained Babblejit Kaur, a 60-year-old Punjabi woman, recently at a USCIS office in Long Island in the US, where she was attending a biometric scan linked to her green card application.
The visit was supposed to take minutes. Instead, she was taken away without explanation. Her family later learned she had been transferred to a detention centre. Bubbly has lived in the US since 1994. She has no criminal record. Her green card petition had already been approved throug
