SBI launches largest-ever QIP of ₹25,000 cr

THE country's largest lender State Bank of India on Wednesday launched corporate India's largest-ever qualified institutional placement (QIP) issue of ₹25,000 crore.
The lender has fixed the floor price at 2.5% discount to the Wednesday's closing price at ₹811.05/share. In an exchange filing, SBI said it has launched a share sale to institutional investors later in the day. The current issue that has hit the market is the first QIP sale since June 2017 when the bank had tapped the equity market with a ₹15,000 crore issue.

A 24-year-old student from Kafanwada village in Laxmangarh, Alwar district, has gone missing in Russia under mysterious circumstances.
