THE Adani Group on Monday denied a Wall Street Journal (WSJ) report which said that US prosecutors are investigating whether billionaire Gautam Adani's company imported Iranian liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) into India through the Mundra port, potentially violating US sanctions.

"Adani categorically denies any deliberate engagement in sanctions evasion or trade involving Iranian-origin LPG. Further, we are not aware of any investigation by US authorities on this subject," said Adani Group flagship company Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL) in an exchange filing on Monday.
